I'm looking for a good alternative to AIM. One that supports YIM, MSN, and AIM. I don't want any that use skins instead of a normal windows interface. I don't like GAIM for Windows (crashes) or Trillian (crap).

Well, given that you've pretty much ruled out the two best options, I suspect you'd be stuck using something with considerably fewer features, or writing something yourself.

Yes, I have tried Trillian Pro. I don't like skin-only IM clients. I want one that uses a true windows-native GUI so it can work with my desktop theme.

Miranda IM. Powerful, if occasionally flaky due to weird plugin interactions. Loads of plugins; it doesn't come with (IMO) a feature complete set, so you'll have to pick and choose and find the ones that you like.
i use GAIM .82, and it totally works for me. they've ironed out a lot of kinks in the last few months. i used to use trillian pro, but that program eats my ass. i'd almost rather use the real AIM client
I use and recommend Easymessage (www.easymessage.net). It isn't feature rich, but it doesn't use many resources, is small, and get the job done. It supports all IM clients.
